Bukit Timah Nature Reserve in SingaporeThe famous Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, located on 177 Hindhede Drive, is one of two reserves in the world to be located within city boundaries (the other being Rio de Janeiro) and it contain more species of trees than the whole of North America and thus making it a popular tourist attraction in the region.

 

Here is where you will find the highest peak on the island, Bukit Timah Hill, at 164 meters and it is also the only large area of primary rainforest left on this island. Stop by the Visitor Centre at the base of the reserve and take a stroll to the peak where you can have a picnic. Watch out for the monkeys when you are biking along the mountain biking trails. This famous tourist attraction in Singapore has some of the best walking trails in the region whereby visitors can Bukit Timah Reserve  enjoy a whole day of outdoor adventure here whereby trekking is the most popular activity here besides admiring the spectacular scenery.
