Night Safari in
Singapore is famous place of
interest that is located at 80 Mandai
Lake Road and next to the Singapore Zoological
Gardens.
Night Safari is the world's first
night zoo and it is an award-winning attraction
and you certainly will not want to miss it. Experience nocturnal wildlife on a 45-minute
tram ride or take one of the three Walking
Trails to experience the park in eight
geographical zones covering forty hectares of
forested park. Explore the rocky Himalayan Night
Safari in Singapore foothills,
the remarkable Nepalese River Valley, dense jungles
of Indo-Malaya and through to the grassy plains
of Equatorial Africa. Your tram ride will take
you through the East and West Loop passing by a
large reservoir and weaving through selected
habitats.
In the cool of the
night, catch the twice-nightly Creatures of the
Night show, or take a stroll through the
Mangrove Walk, a free-ranging bat enclosure
along the Leopard Trail. From fierce animals to
timid forest dwellers, watch them in their
natural habitat under subtle moonglow lighting. End your visit with a
bite at one of the two restaurants located near
the entrance or browse through animal-themed
souvenirs at the gift shops. The experience of
getting to watch over one hundred different
species of mainly nocturnal animals, including
leopards, lions and tigers, as they come
alive at night can be quite amazing
