Raffles Hotel is at once both a grand historic hotel and a heritage site. Declared a National monument by the Singapore Government in 1987, Raffles Hotel has through the years, gained international recognition as a travelers' paradise that provides an excellent and luxury accommodation.

Alternatively, sip on a refreshing pink drink called the Singapore Sling, created by Hainanese-Chinese bartender Ngiam Tong Boon, at the Long Bar which is home to this cocktail drink since 1915. Located over two floors, this stately watering hole for ex-colonials is amazingly original, with lots of wooden fixtures and fittings that give it a homeliness. Another unique attraction is the sixteen distinctive restaurants and bars within Raffles Hotel that apparently recall the atmosphere of a bygone era. Whether you are staying in the hotel or just checking out the hotel, the experience is simply exceptional.
