Opium Hill at Pasir Panjang district in SingaporeThe Opium Hill, located at 31-K Pepys Road in the Pasir Panjang area, was once the site of a fierce World War II battle, where the 1,400-strong Malay Regiment valiantly fought 13,000 Japanese soldiers. This place of interest in Singapore is a famous World War Two heritage site.

 

The innermost thoughts of one of the most courageous group of soldiers ever seen in Singapore, the dedicated soldiers of the Malay Regiment, led by Lt. Photo: Opium Hill        Adnan Saidi, are revealed in a multi-sensory experience at the Interpretative Centre whereby the courage and bravery shown by these soldiers are second to none.
