The Opium Hill, located at 31-K Pepys Road in the Pasir Panjang area,
was once the site of a fierce World War II
battle, where the 1,400-strong Malay Regiment
valiantly fought 13,000 Japanese soldiers. This
place of interest in Singapore is a famous World
War Two heritage site.
The
innermost thoughts of one of the most courageous
group of soldiers ever seen in Singapore, the dedicated soldiers of
the Malay Regiment, led by Lt. Photo: Opium Hill Adnan Saidi, are
revealed in a multi-sensory experience at the
Interpretative Centre whereby the courage and
bravery shown by these soldiers are second to
none.
