Storing your spa
tool and products at home is neither space
consuming nor hard. All you need is just a small
drawer, a shelf on your cupboard or cabinet to
keep the few basic items and probably a few of
your favorite ingredients that you may need.
Most people may just keep them in the shelf
behind the glass mirror in your bathroom or in a
basket which is kept underneath your bed or any
place that is convenient to you. To
have a completely ideal environment, make sure
the place is tidy, have a few aromatherapy
diffusers and candles and a soft flannel sheets
washed in lavender water nearby to help create
the atmosphere of a luxury spa. Photo: Spa basket
Once you have
all the tools you need, a perfect spa experience
awaits you at any time of the day. Since a lot of spa
treatments involves cleansing and moisturizing
your skin, shower gels and body lotions, scented
with both invigorating and relaxing aromas, are
among the essential products to have on our
side. Another ingredient not to be missed is a
good neutral base oil such as almond or jojoba
which is usually used to blend with essential
oils for aromatherapy treatments and massages.
When trying to
stock up your own spa store, always choose the
essential oils that you feel totally comfortable
with, especially the smell, and never use the
products which you feel totally uncomfortable
with. When dealing with
scrubs, polishes and glows, try to have a salt
and a sugar scrub in your cabinet because these
products can exfoliate your skin. Other
beneficial staples include bath salts, good body
mud and a face mask.

tools and products
Other tools and products
needed for a good spa treatment include
high-quality face, body and hair care products
such as antioxidant moisturizers, body butters
and replenishing shampoos and conditioners are
also great to include in your supply. These
items does not really take up a lot of space but
can really refresh and rejuvenate you when used
regularly. The one item that is listed in the
'must-have' list is the humble loofah whereby
this natural sponge comes in a whole
cylinder-shaped or made into mitts. This plain
and simple item is exceptionally helpful to
improve circulation and exfoliating skin.
Another essential
supply to have in your bathroom cabinet is a
large brush for your body and a smaller one,
also known as a complexion brush, for your face.
Besides these two brushes, another type of brush
that is necessary is a rubber bristles
hairbrush. If you feel that what you have is
still insufficient to give you the perfect spa
experience that you required, other tools and
products that you may wish to keep in hand are a
nail buffer, cotton balls, emery boards, foot
file, orange sticks and pumice stone. For
further pampering, hand mitts and foot booties
for deep overnight skin hydration may be
considered together with items to appease and
relax the muscle such as the neck and eye
pillows and massage tools. With all these
products on hand, you can make full use of your
spa cabinet and an ideal spa experience is
just at your finger tips.
