Our feet is the
most overlooked place when we go for a spa
experience. Just like the rest of our body, our
feet too occasionally need some pampering too.
Having a pedicure once a month is not too much.
Our legs are also one of the most overworked
part of our body because we tend to walk a lot
no matter we are at home or at the office. High
heels, new shoes and standing for long hours are
the main caused for the sore muscles. The skin
on our feet tend to be dry and rough and this
can be overcome by exfoliation which will remove
the layers of dead skin cells and at the same
time it speeds up cell renewal which leads to
softer and smoother skin. Recommended spa
experience to pamper your feet include a foot
massage, a hot wax hydration dip or overnight
hydration with peppermint foot lotion and foot
mitts or socks, and sugar or salt scrub.
A simple spa
treatment which can be easily done at home is
through peppermint soak. To start off, fill a
large bowl with warm water whereby you have to
make sure that the water level is slightly below
your ankles. Then add one tablespoon of
peppermint oil mineral crystals into the water.
Put your feet into the bowl for about ten
minutes to enable easier exfoliation and more
effective since your skin will be soften and
refresh after the peppermint soak. After a foot
soak, you can use a pumice stone to smooth the
skin on your heels. Anointing the feet is a
long-held ritual in many cultures.

And while you are grooming
your nails, try to cut them straight across and
file all sharp edges and use a cotton-wrapped
orange stick to slowly push back your cuticles.
For a shiny looking toenails, you can buff them. Another feet
therapy is using the peppermint foot mask which
will absolutely refresh and hydrate your feet.
Spread a thick layer of the mask over your feet,
covering the tops and soles as well as in
between your toes. Rinse your feet after fifteen
minutes and your feet will be totally refreshed
after that.
