To look healthy, not only must your face look healthy but your hair must also look healthy. For the hair to be restore to health, proper maintenance is essential whereby regular cleansing and care has to be carried out. It is no secret that by massaging your head regularly, scalp muscles can be toned and at the same time, blood supply will also increase. The hair roots will be nourished and encourage skin regeneration and hair growth. Since hair roots cells are sensitive to its surroundings, a few general tips to follow for hair care are always use cool water to rinse your hair, wear a hat when exposed to direct sunlight, pat your hair with a towel and do not take too much fad diets. It is a misconception that only the women who has to take care of their hair. Healthier looking hair will directly increases our confidence when we carry out our daily chores.

 

Hair care through spa therapyThe most basic manner in hair care is by brushing your hair. When you brush your hair, you are are actually massaging the scalp which leads to the loosening of the dead skin cells. This process will spread the natural oils down the shafts to guard them and enhances scalp circulation and encourage the growth of hair. It is important that you only brush your hair when it is dry and when doing so, always brush back with long and firm strokes. After that, hang your head upside down and do the same again by brushing from the nape of your neck towards the floor. When washing your hair, it is recommended that you use an essential oil-infused shampoo. Always use the pads of your fingers to slowly shampoo your scalp and try not to stroke your hair against your scalp. For improved circulation, use your nails to scratch lightly. Among the essential oils used in shampoo include lavender oil, peppermint oil and rosemary oil. To fight dandruff, patchouli oil and tea tree oil is frequently used. Another favorite hair care therapy is the scented scalp conditioning rub. Rub a mixture of ylang-ylang oil, palmarosa oil and jojoba oil to your head and knead your scalp. Sit back for fifteen minutes with your hair wrap in a towel.  This scented scalp conditioning rub is known to relieve anxiety, hydrates your hair and encourage cell regeneration together with regulating oil secretion.

 

Most people would condition their hair regularly but sometimes the wrong method is being applied. The correct method would be to squeeze a spoonful of conditioner into your palm and carefully and evenly work it through your hair and make sure it reaches the ends. After that, rinse your hair with cool water until the conditioner has been washed off, then dry your hair slowly and continue by combing it gently and you should work in sections. For light conditioning, use hemp seed oil conditioners. Sometimes, for a shiny hair, you can use a banana, coconut and ginger mask. This tropical hair mask will help in conditioning hair cuticles and boost circulation which will subsequently lead to a soft and shiny hair.
