This is the island's
main town and also its port town, situated on the west coast,
and is constantly bustling with visitors
arriving and leaving. It is the place to go
shopping for beach gear, extending visas or just
watch the port activity from a street cafe and
the delicious food here is one of the best you can find on
the island. Located nearby is a small village
called Mae Nam which is also popular among
tourists as cheap accommodation can be found
