DA NANG (DANANG)

Located in central Vietnam, Danang City (Da Nang) is surrounded by Thua Thien Hue along the northern border and Quang Nam on the southern border. Danang is Vietnam's fourth largest city and it is a mere transit stop for most travelers visiting the Cham Museum. This museum is the major tourist attraction here whereby you will be able to view the finest collection of Cham sculpture and these intricately carved sandstone pieces are a joy to look at.

 

Tranquil beaches like Non Nuoc Beach, also known as China Beach, is one of the more famous tourist attractions in Danang and the slow pace of life here makes this city easy for visitors to relax and for surfers, the wave is best during the last few months of the year. Other places of interest are the Ngu Hanh Son Marble Mountains and the Linh Ung Pagoda. The Marble Mountains is made up of five marble outcrops which was once islands. For those who are fit enough climb up to the top, the amazing view of the ocean and the surrounding countryside will be a just reward.
